Several aspiring boudoir photographers attended the two workshops held at a studio in Houston, Texas. There, I spoke for a half-hour in each class about the importance of vision and understanding the purpose of wedding boudoir photography.
After the lecture, workshop participants proceeded to put theory into practice by photographing the models in attendance.
For the duration of the workshop, I answered questions.
I guided workshop participants as they learned the importance of lighting.
They also learned the importance of connecting with the women they’re photographing to create photographs that packed emotion.
I joined in on the photo shoot that followed my lecture.
Here are some of my favorites.
This workshop was made possible by Jade Leblanc-Ernest.
In addition to her work as a photographer and filmmaker, Jade also coordinates with vendors, models, and other artists to put together workshops in Houston, Texas. To learn more about her styled photoshoots, visit her at J Ernest Media.
As for me, I will continue working with her, and others, in leading photography workshops throughout Texas and the United States.
